Sound Activated EL wire
This little illuminated wire glows with every thud from your stereo. Set the sensitivity, slide in the CD and wallow in your smug grin as your mates "whoa" and jump around like silly kids in a candy store!!
EL wire is cool to touch, flexible and uses little energy.
Kit contains the following:
1.5m EL wire in your choice of diameter
Sound sensor driver (adjustable)
12V cigarette lighter power connection.
The driver box can be placed anywhere, preferably close to a sound source (not radio) where it will respond by flashing a continuous line of glowing light with every thud from the speakers. It will even respond to clapping and human speech. Sensitivity of response can be adjusted so that the flash may be anywhere between intermittent or continuous.
The wire can be bent and coiled and shaped almost any way you like. It never heats up, does not give off UV light and is perfectly insulated in its plastic coating.
