EL welt wire is being used by some clothing designers as a theme throughout their collection and who can blame them!
Welt wire has advantages of the normal round shape EL cable because it allows you to sandwich the flap (welt) between raw edges and stitch it with an ordinary sewing machine.
EL wire will not burn the wearer and neither will it glare into the eyes of everyone nearbye.

EL welt ULTRABRIGHT RED
Now in ULTRABRIGHT RED, this welt wire is brighter than our previous wire.
Diameter of the wire is approx 2.2mm and the width of the flap approx 5mm
The internal structure of the wire is the same as all el wires but the external sheath has a small flap that can be stitched through or used to help glue the wire along a groove or small ridge.
