The EL wire has a stiff second parallel wire (not powered) enclosed within the vinyl sheath so it can hold the shape you create. This is a great wire for sign makers, for the creative sculptor and hobby craftsperson. It can be used for some fantastic fairy wings and curious looking lounge room lamps. Give this a try if you want to make a statement out of the dark!

Stiff El Neon Wire Kit 2.3 x1000mm green
This wire can be bent and formed to any shape and will hold that form without the need for any fixatives. Just like the soft EL wire, it glows a continuous colour along it's length and so can imitate Neon tubing.
